’75 ORIGINAL PRESSING (ETP-72073). Elusive album by Brown Rice, session group led by composer/arranger Yasunori Soryo - Tomoko Soryo is one of the vocalists too (her name is credited as Tomoko Yoshihara since this was recorded before their marriage). Check out heavyweight jazz-funk bomb “Chug-A-Lug”, and psych funk hitter “U.S.A. #1”. Some other remarkable cuts on this too. Never been sold on Discogs, very hard record to find too.

この後作編曲家として活躍する惣領泰則を中心に結成されたセッション・グループ＝ブラウン・ライスが渡米し録音した75年作アルバム『旅の終りに』。重量級ジャズファンク「チャガログ」が超絶キラー！その他も瑞々しいコーラスと骨太なバッキングが際立った良質なトラックが並びます。83年のリプレスもありますが、こちらは75年のオリジナルプレス。
